Description
These minutes detail the debate to decide on the wording, and then vote on the work rights of immigrants and responsibilities of their current/prospective employers and Federal Government. After deciding that in order for the Trades Hall Council Unions to not intervene in the affairs of the Department of Immigration and the Federal Government, Unions need to be contacted and be told of their Union's capacity to take on these people, and that they have the appropriate qualifications, the amendment was denied in the vote, of 93 against to 56 for.
